The Yellow Zig Zag Design Handloom Banarasi Organza Saree is a traditional Indian saree made with handloom weaving techniques in the city of Banaras (also known as Varanasi) in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is crafted using the finest quality organza fabric, which is a lightweight, sheer and crisp material that gives the saree a delicate and elegant look. The saree features a bright yellow color with a unique zigzag design that is created using a special dyeing technique called resist dyeing, where certain parts of the fabric are covered with a paste made of rice or wheat flour, and then dyed to create the pattern. This process is repeated multiple times to achieve the desired design. The saree is typically six yards in length and is draped around the body in a graceful manner, with one end pleated and tucked into the waistband of the petticoat (underskirt) and the other end draped over the shoulder.
